Capriccioso Games Studio is looking for an Entry-Level Social Media Manager to join our tightly-knit team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating and scheduling content across different social media platforms, community management, customer support, monitoring and researching the audience to inform strategy, business development, and using AI tools wherever possible. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape the social media presence of a growing startup game development studio.

Terms: 

  • This is a full-time, freelance contract position minimum 6 months. 
  • Salary is PHP20,000 and, 
  • 1% of monthly company income (gradually increase!)
  • + 1 month pay if contract is discontinued or if you resign so you have some time to look for other jobs without worry (minimum 5 months working with us)

This is you: 

  • Love playing video games (we’re currently addicted to Stardew Valley!)
  • Confident and outgoing personality (the team is composed of all introverts, so save us pls 🙏 )
  • Might want to be a VTuber (???)
  • Knows their way around memes and internet culture 

Responsibilities:

  • Craft effective strategies to expand our studio’s audience reach
  • Develop enticing devlogs for our game releases
  • Design marketing materials for upcoming events
  • Create captivating visual assets for our social media posts
  • Foster and maintain active communities across various platforms
  • Create and keep track of our social media calendar to ensure timely and effective content distribution
  • Reach out to publishers and press
  • Occasional Twitch/Youtube streaming or recording updates, and assisting with dev streams and interviews.

Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in basic graphic design
  • Basic video editing skills
  • Understanding of branding principles
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies
  • Great writing skills in English
  • Experience with most social media platforms
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and techniques.
  • Good self-management practices as a pro-active remote worker.
  • And very importantly: you love games and are passionate about the game development industry!
